To avoid entry errors and guarantee the conformity of your travel documents, it is important to know which name to mention when booking your plane ticket or when filling out your travel request form for<a href=\"\/en\/formulaire\/\">e-visa India<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Special cases to be aware of before starting to enter your name to obtain a plane ticket or an India e-visa<\/h2>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Typing errors are more common than you might think. They generally occur through carelessness, and often boil down to unfortunate spelling mistakes. They can also be the result of a lack of knowledge of the usual rules for entering surnames. In fact, <strong>some names are special cases<\/strong>, such as fairly long compound names or names with a particle. These particular names are longer and more difficult to enter, which increases the risk of input errors.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a long compound name, indicate only the first name of your passport, in the same way as it is presented on the magnetic strip of the latter.
