But Agra has other treasures too, like Delhi's Red Fort or the Palace of Mirrors, the Shish Mahal, which can only be visited in the dark, by candlelight.<\/p>\n<h2>Darjeeling<\/h2>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">If you'd rather visit the more \"<em>deep<\/em>\" India, Darjeeling is for you! Its name comes from the Tibetan \"Darjee-Ling\", which means \"The Place of Lightning\". The town lies between 1,800 and 2,400 metres above sea level, in the heart of tea plantations at the foot of the Himalayas. Tea has been grown here since the 19th century and is consumed the world over.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Darjeeling, a breath of fresh air from other hectic parts of North India. At the time, the palace served as... a royal harem! Its incredible fa\u00e7ade features 953 windows and balconies, designed so that the women of the harem could see outside without being seen...
